GREENVILLE – Firefighters in Greenville quickly extinguished a house fire Wednesday, and no injuries were reported, authorities said.
The Greenville Fire Department said crews were dispatched Jan. 21 to Ridge Avenue for a reported house fire. Firefighters arrived to find a single-story, wood-frame residence with visible fire on the exterior of the structure.
Crews, operating in full protective gear, deployed a hose line and brought the fire under control, the department said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
