The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office said a tip submitted through Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of a wanted individual featured in the agency’s “Wanted Wednesday” program.
In a statement, the sheriff’s office thanked the public for its assistance, saying the tip directly resulted in the arrest and highlighted the importance of community involvement in helping law enforcement locate wanted individuals and improve public safety.
Authorities reminded residents that tips submitted through Crime Stoppers can be made anonymously and may be eligible for a cash reward. Anyone who recognizes individuals featured in Wanted Wednesday postings or has information about their whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers or the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office noted that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
