OCEAN SPRINGS — Ocean Springs police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man suspected of damaging a vending machine outside a business early Christmas Eve.
According to the Ocean Springs Police Department, officers responded about 5 a.m. Dec. 24 to a report of malicious mischief at a business in the 3700 block of Beachview Drive. Investigators say surveillance video shows a man wearing a white jacket covered in writing attempting to break into a vending machine outside the business.
Police estimate the damage at approximately $1,000.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by using the P3 Tips app or calling **TIPS. Tips remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
