HATTIESBURG — Two motorcyclists were killed early Wednesday in a crash involving a commercial tractor-trailer in Hattiesburg, police said.
Hattiesburg police officers responded to the wreck at about 12:12 a.m. on Old Highway 42 near U.S. Highway 49. The crash involved a tractor-trailer and two motorcycles.
Both motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
