A woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a vehicle while walking near W. Amite Street.
At approximately 10:33 a.m. on December 8th, Capitol Police officers responded to the call. When officers arrived, they found a female who had been struck.
She was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
This is an open and ongoing investigation; no further comment will be made at this time.
