GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Greenville Fire Department is collecting winter clothing and monetary donations as part of its annual holiday coat drive.
The department is asking for coats, socks and hats for both adults and children in need of extra warmth this season.
Donations can be dropped off at the fire station, located at 532 Central Street in Greenville, at any time, on any day, officials said.
Monetary donations are also being accepted through Cash App at $GFDHOLIDAYSEASON.
Fire department officials said the items will help make the holidays a little brighter for community members who may be struggling during the colder months.
