Tunica County Sheriff’s Office Holding Coat Drive to Keep Children Warm

As colder weather settles in across Tunica County, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office is working to make sure local children and families have what they need to stay warm.

The Sheriff’s Office has launched a winter coat drive and says they now have a growing list of specific sizes that are most needed.

Donations of new or gently used coats can be dropped off directly at the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.

For those who prefer to donate online, the department has also shared an Amazon wish list to make purchasing easier. However, officials note that while the wish list is convenient, it may not always be the most affordable or fastest option due to current shipping times and prices.

The Sheriff’s Office says they are grateful for coats purchased in-store or from any website and shipped directly to:

5126 Old Mhoon Landing Road
Tunica, MS 38676

Right now, their greatest needs are: youth medium, youth large, adult small through adult large.

“We’re working to make sure every child stays warm,” the department shared, thanking the community for its generosity. “Your support means more than you know as we face this cold weather together.”
