The City of Greenville has announced that the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting has been moved to Wednesday, December 3, due to expected bad weather on Monday.
The event will take place in the 500 block of Washington Avenue at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
Families are invited to enjoy an evening of Christmas lights, holiday cheer, and a special visit from Santa Claus. After the tree is lit, visitors are encouraged to stroll downtown and enjoy the holiday decorations and festive atmosphere.
The event is presented by Main Street Greenville and the Washington County Economic Alliance, in partnership with the City of Greenville, Mississippi.
