A D’Iberville man was killed and his passenger seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Pearl River County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on November 22, at approximately 7 p.m. on Highway 26.
Troopers say a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 36-year-old Timothy Campbell Jr. of D’Iberville was traveling east on Highway 26 with passenger Karyn Dufrene when it collided with a 2008 Dodge Ram.
The Dodge Ram, driven by 28-year-old Michael Crawford of Franklinton, Louisiana, with adult passenger Courtnyee Mclain and a juvenile passenger, was traveling north on Highway 43 at the time of the collision.
Campbell received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Dufrene was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Crawford, Mclain, and the juvenile passenger were not injured in the crash.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
