Booneville police say a Baldwyn man has been arrested on felony voyeurism and drug charges following a report of a suspicious person near homes on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
According to the Booneville Police Department, patrol officers responded to the area on November 13, 2025, after residents reported a suspicious suspect near their residences. When officers arrived, they located a man matching the description given by callers.
The suspect was detained and identified as 33-year-old Christopher Brian Blassingame of Baldwyn, Mississippi. During the detention, officers say Blassingame was found to be in possession of a felony amount of suspected narcotics. He was taken into custody and held for further investigation.
The case was turned over to detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division. After a follow up investigation, Blassingame was charged with one felony count of voyeurism, and one felony count of possession of methamphetamine, more than 1/10 of a gram but less than 2 grams.
His bond was set at $30,000. Police say the case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury, with Blassingame to be presented as a habitual offender.
