The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened on Thursday, November 14, 2025, near Club Old Skool on Highway 18.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded within moments and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was treated on scene and taken for medical care. His condition has not been released.
Witnesses at the scene identified the suspect as Kenneth Townsend, officials said. Townsend was taken into custody without further incident and has been charged in connection with the shooting.
Deputies later recovered a firearm as part of the investigation.
