JACKSON – FedEx Cares volunteers will donate 462 coats to students at Boyd Elementary School on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at 9 a.m. as part of an ongoing collaboration with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing essential resources that foster warmth, confidence and hope for children.
The effort is part of a broader FedEx initiative that will ship thousands of coats to more than 35 schools across North and South America.
Since 2016, more than 1.4 million coats have been distributed through the partnership, helping children in need feel supported, gain confidence and develop a sense of belonging.
Operation Warm also provides new shoes and sports bras to students in need. The organization directs 95% of every dollar to its programs and has served millions of children nationwide over the past 26 years.
The event will take place at Boyd Elementary School, 4531 Broadmeadow St., Jackson.
