Scott County deputies arrest two on trafficking charges; drugs and cash seized

On Oct. 15, Scott County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men, Richard Bobbitt Jr. and Stephen Dickerson, on charges of trafficking a controlled substance.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies recovered approximately 79 grams of methamphetamine, 6 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana, and $1,800 in cash during the arrest.

Both suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Scott County Detention Center. Additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.

No injuries were reported. Authorities did not release further details about the circumstances leading up to the arrests.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
