A Tupelo man has been arrested following an assault reported at the Cinemark movie theater on Barnes Crossing Road, according to the Tupelo Police Department.
Officers responded to 1001 Barnes Crossing Road on Sept. 17, 2025, where a victim reported being assaulted by someone with whom she was in a relationship. After investigating, police arrested Bryson A. Franks, 22, of Tupelo, on Sept. 22 and charged him with one count of aggravated domestic violence.
On Sept. 24, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Franks’ bond at $10,000. Police say the case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
