A Hattiesburg man died early Sunday after exiting a moving vehicle on Interstate 59, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
MHP said the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. on September 28. A 2010 Toyota Venza driven by 27-year-old Jose Domingo was traveling southbound when the passenger, 27-year-old Andres Domingo, got out of the vehicle and was then hit by multiple passing vehicles.
Andres Domingo died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol. No further information was available.
