A Booneville man has been arrested after deputies recovered property stolen from an unoccupied house on County Road 2280, according to the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department.
On Sept. 24, Deputies Dennis Peeks, Ray Jennings, and Alfredo Navarro responded to a burglary call at the home. Deputy Jennings told Investigator Aaron Stolz he knew of an individual living nearby who had reportedly been seen walking through properties and looking into windows. Jennings and Stolz went to that address, and based on the information obtained, deputies located all of the stolen items, which were returned to the owner.
40-year-old Brian Keith Arnold, of Booneville, was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building. Justice Court Judge Ray Hall set bond at $25,000. Investigator Stolz said the case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
All charges are accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
