Mission Mississippi will host its annual Living Reconciled Celebration on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Mississippi College’s Anderson Hall.
Organizers say the evening will include a family-style dinner, music, fellowship, and guided conversations focused on the power of reconciliation in Mississippi and beyond. The event is designed as a shared table experience, inviting guests to gather “as family and neighbors breaking bread at one table.”
A featured panel will spotlight practitioners of reconciliation who model holding grace and truth together across differences. Panelists include Jamie Rasberry, partner at Hill View Partners; Josh Warren, BSU director at Mississippi Delta Community College; Jason “Smiley” Abrams, regional director at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship; Dr. Tionanatasha (TK) Harris, educational consultant; Ryan Weary, vice president of REAL Christian Foundation; and Dr. Blake Thompson, president of Mississippi College.
“We live in a culture dominated by the pace of life, insatiable pursuits, glowing phones, and hyper-partisanship,” said Brian Crawford, president of Mission Mississippi. “All of these distractions dim our perception of one another and, ultimately, our perception of God. Our aim for this evening is simple yet profound: to set our gaze on God and on one another—seeing one another as the image-bearers we were created to be.”
