The D’Iberville Police Department is inviting the community to join them for Coffee With a Cop on Thursday, October 2, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The event, sponsored by the American Legion Post 2002, gives the community the chance to meet local police officers in a relaxed and fun setting. Attendees can enjoy a cup of coffee and donuts (of course) while getting to know officers who serve the community.
In addition to casual conversations, the event will also feature classic vehicles on display.
Police say Coffee With a Cop is all about building stronger relationships between officers and the public. “It’s a chance to connect with us outside of emergency situations, ask questions, and share concerns,” organizers noted.
The department encourages residents to stop by, meet their local officers, and take part in the community connection.
