A 3-year-old was killed in a car crash in Bolivar County last week.
According to WLBT, MHP said the two-vehicle crash happened just after 8:00 p.m. on September 4th.
The head-on crash happened on Highway 1 in Bolivar County, just south of Gunnison. A 2021 Ram 2500 was going north while a 2025 Kia Sportage was traveling south.
MHP said a 3-year-old was ejected from the Kia and pronounced dead on the scene. A 1-year-old was also injured in the wreck.
The driver of the Kia was seriously injured and taken to a Memphis hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to WLBT.
