The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple vehicle break-ins reported early Monday morning, August 25.
Authorities say deputies have received six calls concerning items stolen from vehicles in different parts of the county. Reported stolen items include wallets, purses, firearms, and computers.
Investigators noted that all of the targeted vehicles had been left unlocked. The Sheriff’s Office is urging residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and keep them locked at all times.
The thefts occurred at the following locations:

3100 block of Hwy 528, Heidelberg

1200 and 1600 block of Hwy 528, Bay Springs

30 block of CR 5286, Bay Springs

260 block of CR 273, Bay Springs
