Yesterday, around 9:44 p.m., the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call related to a shooting at 568 Eddie Williams Drive in the Star Community of Rankin County.
Deputies responded to the scene and found a patient suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, whose name is being withheld, was later transported to UMMC where he remains in stable condition.
According to the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, after further investigation, they developed two suspects identified as Erianna Mashaya Garrett and Ladarius James Harrison.
Garrett had been detained when deputies initially arrived on the scene. The second suspect, Ladarius Harrison, was located and arrested at 273 Cherry Bark Drive near the Reservoir.
Erianna Garrett has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and her bond has been set at $100,000. Ladarius Harrison has been charged with Attempted Murder and will be prosecuted as an adult; his bond has been set at this time.
Both suspects are being housed at the Rankin County Adult Detention Center.
