A woman was shot and killed early this morning in Jackson on Siwell and Raymond Road.
Jackson police said that the victim was initially believed to be 17 years old, but after speaking with family, authorities confirmed her identity as 22-year-old Deyonia McGee.
Following the investigation and consultation with the District Attorney’s office, charges were filed against two individuals. Carl Miller, a 60-year-old male, has been charged with manslaughter. A 16-year-old juvenile has been charged with murder.

According to Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard, the deadly shooting happened around 5:00 a.m.
