Brandon – On the evening of June 21, 2025, officers with the Brandon Police Department responded to a report of gunfire in the area of Mary Myles Drive. The incident occurred during a block party attended by numerous individuals.
Preliminary investigation indicates that two adult males sustained gunshot wounds during the event. Both victims were transported by private vehicle to Merit Health Rankin for treatment. Their conditions are currently unknown.
The scene has been secured, and Brandon Police Department investigators are actively interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence. At this time, no arrests have been made. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
