A Booneville man is facing multiple charges after deputies responded to a disturbance call on Saturday morning.
On April 12, at approximately 8:39 a.m., the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a home on Highway 4 West in response to a verbal disturbance involving an intoxicated individual. Deputies N’shaun Cameron, Ray Jennings, and Hunter Arnold arrived at the scene to investigate.
As a result of the call, 44-year-old Brandon Clay Blankenship of Booneville was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, along with additional charges related to the incident.
Judge Craig Bishop set Blankenship’s bond at $5,000 for the controlled substance charge.
The case will be presented to a Prentiss County Grand Jury by Agent Taylor Walker of the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.
