The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is reminding hunters to submit their applications for the upcoming Pelahatchie Bay Alligator Hunting Season before the deadline on March 14, 2025.
This is a partnership application process, and hunters will have the opportunity to participate in one of two designated hunting periods:
- May 2 at 12:00 p.m. – May 5 at 12:00 p.m.
- May 9 at 12:00 p.m. – May 12 at 12:00 p.m.
MDWFP notes that this special season application is separate from the regular alligator hunting season, and interested applicants should review the details carefully.
For more information on how to apply, visit MDWFP’s website. To submit an application, go to Mississippi’s online licensing system.
