A 9-year-old was killed when she was trying to cross a Highway in Attala County.
The crash happened Friday afternoon, March 7 on Highway 43.
According to MHP, a southbound car hit Ann Richardson.
WTVA reports that she died the following day at a hospital in Jackson.
The driver stayed on the scene while they rushed to get the child medical care.
