Running from the cops made problems for an Aberdeen man over the weekend, officials said.
Jaylin Brown of Aberdeen was arrested Friday by Monroe County Deputies after authorities said he made the decision to flee from Law Enforcement during a traffic stop in Aberdeen.
After a short pursuit, Brown lost control of his vehicle and crashed, but no one was injured.
According to Sheriff Kevin Crook, rather than receiving a possible misdemeanor traffic offense, Brown now faces a Felony Eluding Law Enforcement charge; and his misdemeanors now include the following:
Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
Disregard for traffic device
Seat belt violation
Improper Turn
Failure to yield right of way
Driving on the wrong side of the road
Suspended License
Improper Passing
Reckless Driving
Brown’s bond was set at $12,395.75.
