The Jackson Police Department is seeking the public’s help in an ongoing homicide investigation that began on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Authorities responded to a call on North State Street near Woodway Drive, where they discovered a male victim who had suffered trauma to his upper body. The victim, identified as Omar Drake, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been notified.
The investigation remains active, and detectives urge anyone with information to come forward.
