The Magee Police Department has issued an urgent message to the citizens of Magee regarding disturbing reports of hate group propaganda being posted at local gas stations.
Stickers promoting a white supremacist organization, Patriot Front, have been found on gas pumps in several locations around the city.
Chief Denis J. Borges addressed the public, highlighting that Patriot Front is actively trying to recruit young adults and other individuals to their cause.
The group is known for promoting a divisive and hateful ideology under the guise of “American nationalism,” claiming that America should be a “Pan-European nation” reserved for the descendants of their ancestors. Since 2019, the group has distributed flyers, posters, stickers, and banners as part of their effort to spread their message. They have also engaged in flash demonstrations to further raise their visibility.
According to the FBI and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Patriot Front is classified as a white supremacist organization. The group’s ideology directly contradicts the values of inclusivity and equality that the Magee community upholds. Chief Borges emphasized the importance of standing united against hate, noting that the group’s actions undermine the spirit of unity and tolerance that Magee holds dear.
“The Magee Police Department is committed to protecting every member of our community from hate-fueled violence and intimidation,” Chief Borges stated. “Hate crimes targeting any race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious group will not be tolerated, and those responsible will face severe legal consequences.”
The Magee Police Department encourages citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or hate-related activities.
Community members are urged to contact local law enforcement immediately if they encounter such incidents.
