Authorities in Claiborne County have made significant progress in a burglary case at the Nine Point Hunting Club, which happened on February 15.

Thanks to a high-tech tracking effort, stolen property has been located in multiple counties, and a suspect has been identified.

Todd Boss, a representative from the club, reported that several valuable items had been stolen, including a Yamaha side-by-side, a Honda four-wheeler, and a trailer. The club had taken precautionary measures by placing Apple AirTags in their equipment for tracking purposes. When the items went missing, the AirTags sent pings that ultimately led investigators to Jefferson County and Adams County, where some of the stolen property was recovered.

A witness provided crucial information that led authorities to identify Fredrick Frisby as the primary suspect. Following the investigation, Mr. Frisby was located at 6036 Joe Reed Road in Claiborne County.

Sheriff Goods said he was grateful for the collaboration between local law enforcement agencies in solving the case. He thanked Sheriff James Bailey, Sheriff Travis Patten, and Investigator Rusty for their dedicated support, which was instrumental in the recovery of stolen items across Jefferson and Adams Counties.

While most of the stolen goods have been recovered, the trailer remains missing. Authorities are continuing their investigation and are actively pursuing leads. More arrests may follow as the investigation progresses.
