A Hattiesburg woman faces charges after a domestic incident on Tuesday, October 29, on the 700 block of Walnut Street. Ashlee Taylor, 37, was arrested after she allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend with her car during a confrontation.
According to WDAM, Hattiesburg police officers were called to the scene where they made contact with the victim, who reported that Taylor had driven up on him and his girlfriend while they were outside. The victim alleged that Taylor struck his girlfriend with her vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, Taylor turned herself in to authorities and was charged with one count of aggravated assault: use of a deadly weapon. She was booked into the Forrest County Jail but has since bonded out.
