An Escatawpa man has been arrested and accused of sexually abusing his cousin’s pregnant dog.
Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter said in a release Thursday that the pit bull’s owner told investigators that he found Timothy Sanders, 31, holding his dog down and having sexual intercourse with her.
Sanders was arrested Wednesday afternoon at his home. He is charged with unnatural intercourse and animal cruelty.
County Judge Mark Watts denied bond for Sanders during an initial court hearing Thursday.
