On March 1, officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of Etta Lane in reference to shots fired in the area.
When officers arrived, they noticed a man lying face down in the street that appeared to have been shot several times.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Lucas Adams of Greenville.
The Washington County Coroner’s Office pronounced Adams deceased on scene. The motive for the shooting has not been released, but this is an ongoing investigation.
23-year-old Keith Lee Jr. was arrested and charged with Adams’ murder.
