On Monday, August 16, 2021, Perry County deputies received a report from CPS (Child Protection Service) about a possible sex case involving a minor.
After further investigation and a forensic interview of the minor, deputies worked up a case against a 55-year-old white male for lustfully touching a child.
Ernest Ray Holland was arrested and charged with Felony Touching a Minor for Lustful Purposes. His bond was set at $100,000.
During the investigation of this case, the children involved were drug tested. The test came back positive for crystal meth in their system.
A case was put together against their mother, 34-year-old Kasey Holland, and presented to a Perry County Grand Jury.
She was later indicted for three counts of Felony Child Abuse, Felony Child Neglect, and Felony Child Endangerment.
She was arrested on February 23, 2023, and brought before Circuit Court Judge Bob Helfrich on February 24, 2023.
He set her bond at $50,000, and she posted her bond later that afternoon.
