MSU Head Coach Chris Lemonis holds the NCAA National Championship trophy upon the baseball team's arrival in Starkville Thursday night.

In just a few hours, all of Starkville will celebrate.

Well, they’ll continue to celebrate. The Mississippi State Bulldog baseball team, our newly-crowned National Champions, will be honored in a parade scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. near The Little Dooey on University Drive, and will end at Dudy Noble Field.

Admission is free both for the parade and the ceremony that follows at the Dude. Gates open at Dudy Noble at 2:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs defeated the defending champion Vanderbilt in the last two games of the two-out-of-three College World Series Finals. It’s the first national championship for Mississippi State in any sport.
