On Wednesday, April 24, at approximately 7:05 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle crash on MS-27 South near Country Brown Rd. in Warren County.
A 2007 Harley Davidson driven by 48-year-old Herman East of Jackson, MS, was traveling south on MS-27 when it ran off the road and was ejected from the motorcycle, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
Mr. East was transported to Merit Health Hospital in Vicksburg, and was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
