According to a recent post, a meth lab in Hancock County was taken down.
The Sheriff’s Department shared the information on Facebook.
The clandestine methamphetamine manufacturing lab was located in the Bayside Park Community.
A quote from the Sheriff’s Department page said,
“Although we are overjoyed to shut this dangerous operation down, it has been at least 10 years since we’ve seen the precursor hustle and had to deal with these meth-making criminals. The thought of these labs returning to Hancock County has our narcs fired up.”
There has not been a meth lab bust in quite a few years there in Hancock County.
According to WXXV25, 30-year-old Justin McKnight of Bay St. Louis was arrested and charged with possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance.
He is being held at the Hancock County Jail.
