The Pike County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is seeking the public’s help with a Hit and Run fatality.
His family reported him missing, and authorities said he was last seen March 15th around 12:00 p.m. on McKenzie Road, walking.
Authorities cancelled the Silver Alert when they found that he had been struck by a vehicle on Old Hwy 24.
Police say they believe, on March 15, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Mr. Lampton was walking east on Old Hwy 24 between Oakdale Road nd McKenzie Road, when he was hit by a vehicle driving east.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office said they believe that the vehicle was one of the following makes and year ranges:
1997-2003 Ford F150 pickup or
1997-2003 Ford Expedition or
1997-2003 Lincoln Navigator
