All of Mississippi knows who Stanley Self Jr. is after he allegedly shot a Mississippi State Trooper Tuesday, setting off seemingly dozens of phone and broadcast Blue Alerts.

Self is accused of shooting Trooper Ryan Watson in Bolivar County. Police announced Thursday that he was arrested by U.S. Marshals at the Bridgewater Apartments in Rankin County.

Self is now facing charges of attempted murder and felon in possession of a firearm. Further charges are pending.

WLBT is reporting that Ridgeland police say Self’s girlfriend Sadie Dancy of Memphis was also taken into custody at a gas station on Old Canton Road. She was charged at first with child restraint violation, but authorities say additional state charges are coming for her as well.

Trooper Watson is expected to make a full recovery, according to a post by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
