According to WDAM, a man is charged with manslaughter in the death of his brother.

Monday, Magee police were called to a local hotel at 9:05 a.m. for a person who had been shot.

When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old victim, identified as DeShun Williams.

WDAM reports that during the investigation, police took Robert, DeShun’s brother into custody.

Police said that when they talked to Robert, he told them that they were staying in a hotel room when he was holding a gun and discharged a single round that hit DeShun.

Robert was arrested and charged with manslaughter-culpable negligence, according to the police department.
