The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation of 20-year-old Victavis Jacoreous Hobson.
According to Central Mississippi Crimestoppers, Hobson was shot once in the lower abdomen, while he was standing in his driveway on Falcon Ridge Drive in Raymond.
The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on January 19th.
Witnesses told police that Hobson was standing in his driveway when a vehicle drove up and an unidentified man got out of the vehicle. He approached Hobson and the two men began to argue, then Hobson was shot.
There is no vehicle description at this time.
The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public, on any information in the death of Victavis J. Hobson.
