On September 13, the Laurel Police Department received a missing person report on Shawn Newsome.
He is described as a 42-year-old black male.
Family members reported that they had lost contact with Newsome several weeks ago and were concerned.
Newsome has been entered on NCIC as a missing person and LPD is requesting any information as to his current whereabouts.
Captain Reaves is assigned the case.
