UPDATE: 19-year-old Valencia Jones has been arrested and charged in the case.

On Sunday, April 7 the Jackson Police Department began investigating a Homicide that occurred in the 2600 block of Cliffwood Dr.
Detectives learned that the victim was shot at this location. He was identified as 40-year-old Lloyd Ashley.
A person of interest has been identified in the case.
