A man was found dead in the trunk of a vehicle after a shooting in Jackson Wednesday, police said.
A release from Jackson Police Department said officers responded to the 4500 block of Raymond Road on a shooting call. When they arrived, they discovered a man who had been shot to death in the trunk of a car.
The victim was later identified as Patrick Townsend, 37. Investigators have determined that the vehicle had been at the location for a couple of days.
