The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi reported that 34-year-old Filiberto Gonzalez was arrested for rape of a child.

The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office said that Gonzalez is an illegal alien, from Mexico and he was arrested on Monday afternoon August 12.

After an investigation by CID the perpetrator was charged with two (2) counts of rape of a 10-year-old male.

After obtaining arrest warrants and a search warrant the perpetrator was arrested at his house, at Laura Lane.

Gonzalez is being held at the adult Detention Center of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department waiting for a hearing before a Justice Court Judge.
