Man Arrested For Burglary In Tupelo

On September 3, the Tupelo Police Department responded to a burglary call on Mitchell Road.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the property owner and were given a possible suspect vehicle description.
A short time later, officers were able to perform a traffic stop on a possible suspect vehicle on Cliff Gookin Blvd.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Brandon Maldonado (of Corinth) was taken into custody for multiple traffic violations. After further investigation, Maldonado was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Burglary of a Dwelling.
His bond was set at $20,000. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
