On the morning of September 30, Prentiss County Deputies responded to a shots fired call at a home on Hwy 370 West Baldwyn.

When deputies arrived, they spoke with a female victim who stated that she and her husband had gotten into an argument and he had shot at her with a rifle and shot the windows out of her vehicle.

Deputies saw that two windows had been shot out of the vehicle and the side of the house had also been shot.

Deputy Ray Jennings and Investigator Jason Chism entered the home and took 34-year-old Cody Drew Hendrix, of Baldwyn, into custody.

Hendrix was Charged with Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault, Shooting into a motor vehicle, and Shooting into a Dwelling. His bond was set at $50,000.

Investigator Jason Chism will present the case to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
