Mugshot Released Of JSU Student Charged With Raping Two Classmates

A Jackson State University student was charged with raping two of his classmates.

22-year-old Xavier Antwon Yarbough also has an active warrant from Atlanta for a felony rape charge.

Jackson Police said on Friday, March 3, at 2:21 P.M. Yarbough was arrested for two counts of rape.

WLBT reports that police believe Yarbough could be a serial rapist.

He is being held at the Raymond Detention Center on two counts of rape.

WLBT reports that Yarbough’s bond was set at $2 million. He is also barred from the Jackson State University campus.

WLBT said that during Monday’s proceeding, a detective said that they believe drugs could have been used to keep the victims from resisting.
