An adult male was shot on Sunday in the parking lot of the Rock Church on Highway 15 South near the intersection of Lower Myrick Road in Jones County.
Jones County Sheriff’s Department units, EMServ Ambulance Service, Powers Fire & Rescue, and Glade Fire & Rescue we’re on the scene to secure it and make sure there were no active threats. The individual shot was transported by EMServ to South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel for treatment.
This case has now been turned over to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
