A 61-year-old man who was shot in Jackson on June 16 has died. This is the city’s 71st homicide of the year.
Kenneth Weathers was shot outside of a convenience store in the 1600 block of Robinson Road, according to authorities. Weathers died Wednesday at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Jackson Police have released two surveillance photos of a man suspected in the shooting. Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or has information about the case, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
